Released in early 1963, I’m a Woman was one of Peggy’s best-selling albums of the 1960s, spending 26 weeks on Billboard’s charts. Its title song by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, released as a single prior to the album’s release, earned Peggy her eighth Grammy nomination. Her 1972 releaseNorma Deloris Egstrom from Jamestown, North Dakota proved to be Peggy’s final album for Capitol Records. The CD’s producers let us know that while it is rare for EMI UK to include bonus tracks on its 2-on-1 releases, it did so for the song "It Changes” due to the unique circumstances. The track was recorded for the Norma album but deleted from the vinyl issue. EMI felt it was a significant recording and belonged here.
